Public tender Vob/a planning and execution of construction work for the new observation tower in Glashütten. The Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes runs for a length of around 33 km through the varied Taunus forest from the municipality of Glashütten to Obermörlen / Ziegenberg. The aim is to raise awareness of this previously neglected cultural monument among the local population and tourists by erecting the observation tower as a widely effective attraction in Glashütten near the Maisel fort. The tower is to be built as a steel structure with vertical wooden cladding with a viewing platform 12 m high and a roof on four individual reinforced concrete foundations. The total height of the tower is approximately 16.5 m above ground. The meadow area intended for this is accessed via a paved farm track. The building permit has already been granted and a static calculation has been prepared. A subsoil investigation has been carried out and an intervention / compensation plan with potential analysis for species protection is available.
