Public tender Vob/a Expansion of the existing gas collection system Da III with eight gas wells, Wiesbaden The waste disposal companies of the state capital Wiesbaden (elw) operate the Dyckerhoffbruch landfill in the former limestone quarry owned by Dyckerhoff. The landfill currently consists of the landfill sections Da I to Da IV. There is a system for landfill gas collection and use, which collects the landfill gas in landfill gas chimneys and feeds it via a pipeline network to the gas utilization plant (gas engines) located northwest of Da I. As part of the National Climate Protection Initiative (nki), Elw had a potential study carried out in the Da III area in 2021. Stress tests were used to determine which gas wells have the potential to deliver usable landfill gas in the right quality and quantity. On the basis of this study, a total of eight new landfill gas wells are to be built in the Da III area and connected to the existing landfill gas collection system.
