The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed in the last five years, with experience in works of a similar nature and size. The bidder should have completed works of a similar size, with a total value of at least 25% of the estimated cost of the current contract. The bidder should also provide information on the total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as at least 25% of the estimated cost of the current contract. Additionally, the bidder should have invested a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the work, and have access to lines of credit and other financial resources facilities, certified by their bankers, of at least 25% of the contract value. For water supply/sanitary engineering works, the contractor or their identified sub-contractor should have executed similar works for a minimum amount as indicated in the Appendix in any one work. The bidder should also demonstrate availability of personnel with adequate experience as required, and liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of no less than the amount indicated in the Appendix, usually not less than 10% of the value of the estimated cost of the project. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix.
