General Procurement Noticeugandauganda Digital Acceleration Project- Government Network (udap -govnet)project Id No. P171305the Government Of Uganda Represented By The National Information Technology Authority-uganda (nita-u) Has Applied For Financing In The Amount Of Us$ 200 Million Equivalent From The World Bank/ida Toward The Cost Of The Uganda Digital Acceleration Project – Government Network (udap-govnet), And It Intends To Apply Part Of The Proceeds To Payments For Goods, Works, Non-consulting Services And Consulting Services To Be Procured Under This Project. The Project Will Include The Following Components:component 1: Expanding Digital Connectivity In Selected Areas: This Component Will Seek To Bridge The Digital Divide By Improving Access To High-speed Internet In Unserved And Selected Communities In Uganda, Through A Combination Of Infrastructure Investments And Policy Reforms.component 2: Enabling Digital Transformation Of The Government: This Component Will Aim To Boost The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Digital Government Services And Create Foundations For Better Resilience, Climate Adaptation And Economic Recovery.component 3: Promoting Digital Inclusion Of Host Communities And Refugees: This Component Will Improve The Availability Of Core Digital Infrastructure In Remote 12 Rhds For The Benefit Of Both Refugees And Host Communities.
