This Project Will Be Jointly Financed By The World Bank, The Canada Clean Energy And Forests Climate Facility (ccefcf), The United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, The Clean Technology Fund, The Gender In Small Island Developing States Window Of The Ccefcf And The Government Of Saint Lucia. The Project Will Include The Following Components:component 1: Comprises All Activities Related To The Geothermal Exploration Drilling To Assess And Confirm The Viability For Development Of An Estimated 30 Mw Geothermal Power Plant. This Component Will Finance The Following Activities:exploration Management Consultant (emc),integrated Drilling Services Contractor Andthe Civil And Infrastructure Works Contractor.component 2: Includes A Technical Assistance (ta) Program Aimed At: (i) Increasing The Gosl’s Capacity To Implement The Project, (ii) Strengthening Saint Lucia’s Legal And Regulatory Framework For Clean Energy Integration, And (iii) Supporting A Reduction In The Employment Gender Gap In The Energy Sector In Saint Lucia. Procurement Of Contracts Financed By The World Bank Will Be Conducted Through The Procedures As Specified In The World Bank’s Procurement Regulations For Ipf Borrowers (november 2020) (procurement Regulations), And Is Open To All Eligible Firms And Individuals As Defined In The Procurement Regulations.
