The Government Of Kiribati (gok) Through The Ministry Of Information, Communication And Transport (mict) Invites Sealed Quotations From Eligible Suppliers For The Supply And Delivery Of Main Duct/fiber Equipment 1. You Are Invited To Submit Your Price Quotation(s) For The Supply And Delivery Of The Following Items: ·item 1: Duct 3+16·item 2: Fdh Cabinet·item 3: Control Joint·item 4: Small Air-blown Fibre Cable·item 5: Large Air-blown Fibre Cable Information On Technical Specifications Is Attached (refer Annex 2). 2. You Must Quote For Any One Or Any Combination Of The Items Under This Rfq. Price Quotations Will Be Evaluated For Each Item And Contract Awarded To The Supplier Offering The Lowest Evaluated Total Price For The Item, If Substantially Responsive To The Technical Specifications. 3. Your Price Quotation In The Forms Attached (fill In Annexes 1, 3 And 4) May Be Submitted Electronically At The Following Address:address – Ministry Of Information, Communication And Transport, Betio Tarawa Kiribati.email – Ttebau@mfep.gov.ki 4. The Deadline For Receipt Of Your Quotation(s) By The Purchaser At The Address Indicated In Above Paragraph 3 Is 17th April 2023, Close Of Business Local Time. 5. Your Quotation In English Language, Should Be Accompanied By Adequate Technical Documentation And Catalogue(s) And Other Printed Material Or Pertinent Information For Each Item Quoted. 6. Your Quotation(s) Should Be Submitted As Per The Following Instructions And In Accordance With The Attached Contract. The Attached Terms And Conditions Of Supply Is An Integral Part Of The Contract. 7. Prices (a) For Goods Supplied Domestically: The Prices Should Be Quoted In Australian Dollars (aud) For The Total Price Of Ex-works (ex-factory, Ex-warehouse, Etc.) Plus The Price Of Delivery To The Final Destination – Mict, Kiribati. (b) For Goods To Be Imported: The Prices Should Be Quoted In An Acceptable Currency For The Total Ddp Price, To Mict, Kiribati. For Comparison Of Evaluated Prices, The Total Evaluated Price For Each Item Will Be Converted To Australian Dollars At The Exchange Rate On The Deadline Date For Submission Of Quotations On Www.xe.com. 8. Evaluation Of Quotations (a) For Goods Supplied Domestically: Offers Determined To Be Substantially Responsive To The Technical Specifications Will Be Evaluated By Comparison Of The Total Price At The Final Destination In Accordance With Paragraph 2 Above. (b) For Goods To Be Imported: Offers Determined To Be Substantially Responsive To The Technical Specifications Will Be Evaluated By Comparison Of The Total Ddp Prices To The Final Destination, In Accordance With Paragraph 2 Above. In Evaluating The Quotations, The Purchaser Will Determine For Each Quotation The Evaluated Price By Adjusting The Price Quotation By Making Any Correction For Any Arithmetical Errors As Follows:a) Where There Is A Discrepancy Between Amounts In Figures And In Words, The Amount In Words Will Govern;b) Where There Is A Discrepancy Between The Unit Rate And The Line-item Total Resulting From Multiplying The Unit Rate By The Quantity, The Unit Rate As Quoted Will Govern;c) If A Supplier Refuses To Accept The Correction, His Quotation Will Be Rejected. 9. Award Of Contract: The Award Will Be Made To The Bidder Offering The Lowest Evaluated Price And Offering Goods Which Are Substantially Responsive To The Technical Specifications.
