Description Of The Work: Manitoba Hydro Is Issuing This Request To Seek The Submission Of Competitive Proposals For A Consultant To Offer Technical Advice And Guidance In The Determination Of Depreciation Rates For Its Electric And Gas Plant Based On Depreciation Methodologies That Are Compliant With International Financial Reporting Standards (ifrs). There Are Two Distinct Objectives For This Engagement: The First Objective Is For The Consultant To Develop Two Sets Of Depreciation Rates For Manitoba Hydro’s Electric Operations (manitoba Hydro, Wuskwatim Power Limited Partnership (wplp) Ad Keeyask Hydropower Limited Partnership (khlp)) And Gas Operations (centra Gas And Minell Pipelines Ltd (minell)) Based On The Straight-line Method, Alg Procedure And Whole Life Technique: Ifrs Depreciation Rates; And Regulatory Depreciation Rates. The Second Objective Is For The Consultant To Provide Regulatory Support For The Depreciation Studies By Responding To Information Requests And Providing Expert Testimony If Required During Future Regulatory Proceedings.
