The Legislative Assembly Of British Columbia Is Looking For A Contractor To Provide Annual Window Cleaning Services For All Buildings On The Legislative Precinct. The Term Of This Agreement Is Expected To Commence On June 1, 2024, And End On Or About June 30, 2028. The Contractor Will Provide Window Cleaning Services One Time Per Year. work Is To Be Performed Between June 1st And June 30th Of Each Year Of The Contract, Subject To A Final Schedule To Be Determined By Legislative Facility Services (lfs) In Conjunction With The Successful Proponent There Is No Mandatory Site Tour Scheduled For This Opportunity.  Proponents Are Welcome To Attend A Non-mandatory Site Tour On April 5, 2024 At 9:00 Am Pdt.   Proponents Who Have Not Previously Attended A Site Tour For This Window Cleaning Work Are Strongly Advised To Attend This Tour.  Please Email lfs Admin No Later Than April 3, 2024 To Rsvp For The Tour. If We Do Not Receive Any Rsvps, The Tour Will Not Be Held.

A Mandatory Proponents Meeting Will Be Held Approximately One (1) Week After Tender Posting. The Day, Month And Time Will Be Confirmed In An Amendment Soon Following Tender Posting.  As Part Of Its Long-term Restoration And Redevelopment Plan, The Legislative Assembly Of British Columbia (“legislative Assembly”) Is Looking For A Qualified Professional Consultant (“consultant”) To Perform A Condition Assessment On The Asphalt Roof, Copper Roof, Copper Roof Copulas, Slate Roof, Metal Roof, And Skylights (collectively Referred To As “roofs”) Of The Parliament Buildings As Detailed In This Rfp And May Be Requested To Act As The Prime Consultant For Any Future Work Related To The Project. The Consulting Services Must Include An Assessment By A Roofing Contractors Association Of British Columbia (rcabc) (or Equivalent) Accredited Inspector To Assist With The Planning Of Roofing Replacements As Described In This Rfp. Any Award For Construction, Including Repair And Replacement Of Roofs, Will Be Tendered At A Later Date By The Legislative Assembly. The Awarded Proponent Acting As The Consultant Will Not Be Eligible To Bid On Any Tender(s) For Construction, Including Repair And Replacement Of Roofs.
