Public tender (service) Award of postal services The Justus Liebig University in Giessen, hereinafter referred to as the JLU, is a state institution with around 5,700 employees in which mail is handled via a central post office. The service provided is the collection of letters and postal delivery orders from the JLU's central post office, which is located at Goethestrasse 58 (ground floor, parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the post office), as well as the transport and handover to Deutsche Post AG. The JLU itself is responsible for franking and invoicing according to cost centers. The shipments are handed over in postal boxes sorted according to shipment type. For this purpose, the supplier supplies a sufficient number of empty postal boxes on loan.
