The object of the acquisition is a particle size analyzer whose measurement is based on laser diffraction (scattering of laser light). The purpose of the device is to measure the particle size distribution of suspensions, emulsions and powders. The device requires both dry and wet measurement options, a sample mixing/dispersion unit, and a vacuum cleaner with hoses required to create a vacuum. The optics of the device has a red and blue laser, the measurement range is at least 1 mm to 0.1 μm, and the device has automatic laser beam alignment for each measurement.
