The Ministry of Defence Property Board needs to enter into a framework agreement for mail handling. The framework agreement must cover mail handling of letters and parcels at the Ministry of Defence's establishments, and the agreement must ensure that the Ministry of Defence Property Board has the option of sending letters and parcels tailored to the needs of each individual establishment. Mail handling must include, among other things, collection, distribution, franking of letters and parcels, and franked reply envelopes. Mail handling must be carried out in Denmark and abroad. The agreement is divided into 3 sub-agreements, an agreement for letters and an agreement for parcels. The maximum value over a 4-year period for letters is DKK 20 million, and the maximum value over a 4-year period for parcels is DKK 13.6 million. The total maximum value is DKK 33.6 million. It is possible for the tenderers to submit tenders for all 3 sub-contracts, and it is the expectation of the Danish Property Agency that there will be a saving associated with a single supplier for both letters and parcels, as the runs can be combined. However, it has not been possible for the Danish Property Agency to calculate the expected saving sufficiently precisely to include this in the expected and maximum value of the overall contract. The maximum value for sub-contract 3 is therefore the maximum value of sub-contract 1 and sub-contract 2 added together.

The tender concerns a framework agreement for the supply of LPG to tanks and the installation of tanks, the rental of tanks including service and maintenance, and the subsequent deinstallation/dismantling and removal of a tank installed by the supplier and to any of the Danish Armed Forces establishments in Denmark. LPG constitutes an essential form of supply at a number of Danish Armed Forces establishments, and is used, among other things, for space heating in buildings, high-temperature heating for paint booths, use in kitchen operations and fire training areas, as well as other special heating purposes. The framework agreement is concluded by the Danish Ministry of Defence's Property Board (hereinafter referred to as the "Property Board"). However, all units under the Ministry of Defence, including the Danish Defence Materiel and Procurement Agency (hereinafter referred to as the "Materie and Procurement Agency") and all divisions of the Danish Defence that are subject to the command of the Chief of Defence, are entitled to use the Framework Agreement for the purchase of the supply on the terms and conditions of the Framework Agreement.
