This tender notice concerns the award of a framework agreement by the Danish Ministry of Defence's Materiel and Procurement Agency (fmi) for the purchase of security cabinets and weapons cabinets. The purpose of the cabinets is to secure and protect weapons and/or other equipment against theft and unauthorized access. Security cabinets and weapons cabinets must comply with the security classes in the current version of the standard DS/EN 1143-1 (or equivalent), and two subcontracts are being offered: Subcontract 1 – Lower security classes: Covers security classes 0-4. Subcontract 2 – Higher security classes: Covers security classes 5-6 as well as security class 7 and higher (special solutions). In addition to predefined cabinet sizes, the framework agreement includes custom-made interior for the cabinets as well as custom-made cabinets (based on customer-specific needs), hotline and training. The framework agreement is offered for a duration of 4 years plus an option for a 3-year extension. For each sub-agreement, parallel framework agreements are concluded with two suppliers in accordance with a cascade model. It is a requirement that the supplier has facilities in Denmark from which the cabinets are delivered to FMI. The facilities must have access so that FMI can replace locks to the lock type used by the Danish Armed Forces before delivery. The detailed requirements for the facilities are stated in the tender documents. The tender documents will only be published to the pre-qualified companies. During the tender evaluation, a burglary test of selected cabinet types will be carried out in accordance with. Ds/en 1143-1 To qualify that the offered cabinets are of the same security class as Ds/en 1143-1 (or equivalent). The tenderer shall deliver cabinets for the test as part of the tender. The expected deadline for delivery of cabinets for the test is: Week 33/34 2025. The tenderer shall receive compensation corresponding to the tender price of the specific cabinet type for the delivery of cabinets for the test. For each security class covered by the test, the tenderer shall deliver two copies of the same cabinet type. The test cabinets shall be of the same model/type as the cabinets that the tenderer has offered in the tender, and the tenderer shall, during the framework agreement period, deliver cabinets that are at least of the same standard and security class as the tested cabinets. At the same time as the notification of prequalification, the prequalified companies receive information about which types of cabinets are to be delivered for testing. There is a requirement that the supplier and employees involved in the execution of the framework agreement are security cleared at the level for service use. The security clearance must be obtained before the framework agreement is concluded between FMI and the supplier, and must be maintained throughout the term of the agreement. Further information about the requirements for security clearance will be provided in the tender documents. If the applicant does not already have a security clearance, FMI recommends that the application process be started as soon as possible, and preferably no later than the time of notification of prequalification.
