In Areas Offered For Voluntary Conservation And Areas On Publicly Owned Ground, The Mapping Will, Together With Other Existing Data, Ensure A Knowledge Basis Of The Ecosystem For An Assessment Of Conservation Of Individual Areas. The Aim Of Mapping Specific Types Of Forests Is That These Registrations, Together With Previous Registrations, Will Give A Representative Picture Of The Ecosystem Values For The Specific Type Of Forest. The Registrations Will Improve The Basis For Managing The Biological Diversity In The Forest Type, Including Forming A Basis For Offers Of Voluntary Forest Conservation.
