The subject of the procurement is 16 skull saws for use by the Forensic Medicine Unit of Thl, as well as their maintenance service. Skull saws are tools designed to open the skull during an autopsy.

The object of the procurement is to carry out waterbird mating and brood counts in the Central Finland region in the spring of 2025 as part of the Helmi habitat project. The monitoring is intended to collect information on the effects of restoration and maintenance work carried out at waterbird sites, including maintenance fishing, nesting rafts, dredging, breeding islands and intensive hunting of small carnivores (mink, raccoon dog), on the bird population and brood production at the sites. The contract includes the renewal of the culverts located at Mt 8794 (nuojuankoskentie) and the improvement of the road at the culverts. The contract area is located between road addresses 8794/4/520 - 2680.

The site is located in Kiimingi on Highway 20 at the address 20/6/900 – 1500, in the City of Oulu, at the junction of Highway 20, Seututie 849 and Purontie. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the City of Oulu and Fintraffic Tie Oy.
