Additionally, All Around The Edges Of This Roof Attention And Sealing Is Needed. This Roof Will Be Considered For Full Replacement, But This Repair Work (target Patch And Edge Sealing) Is The Immediate Need. This Needs To Be Inspected And Repaired. building 4 (upper) Is A Ballasted Epdm Roof. This Roof Has Several Roof Leaks That Need Inspection And Repair. Additionally, The Metal Edging Around The Peri Miter Of The Building Needs To Be Resecured And Sealed. building 143 Lobby Transom Area Is An Epdm Roof. There Are Several Roof Leaks Along The Glass Transom Over The Main Lobby. The Length Of This Glass Transom Needs To Be Inspected And Repaired Along The Termination Bars And Counterflashing. the Lower Roof Of Building 13 (old Chiller Plant) Is A Ballasted Epdm Roof. This Roof Has Damage From A Recent Windstorm And Needs Two Large Target Patches (6 X 6 ) And Additional Inspection And Repairs. 11. The Damaged Metal Siding Of Building 13 At The Salem Va Medical Center. Presently, There Is An Area Of Siding That Has Blown Off The Building Leaving A Large Open Exposed Area. Immediately Inside The Area Exposed Is Electrical Equipment That Is Tarped To Keep Any Water Off. The Opening, Because Of The Wind Damage, Is Also Tarped As A Temporary Protective Measure. Contractor Shall Remove Or Trim Any Existing Vertical Metal Siding As Necessary To Facilitate A Nice, Professional And Workmanship Like Fit For New Vertical Siding. Seams Shall Be Caulked As Appropriate To Provide The Best Possible Waterproof Surface As Able. The Replacement Panels Of Metal Siding Shall Be Fabricated To Match Existing As Closely As Possible.
