Request For Information For The Provision Of An Approved List For The Provision Of Independent Providers Of Foster Care Services East Sussex County Council And Brighton & Hove City Council Are Writing To Invite You To An Opportunity To Submit A Survey Response For The Future Provision Of Independent Providers Of Foster Care Services. We Are Looking To Recommission These Services To Create An Approved List Which Will Include A Call Off Process For All Individual Placements. The Main Objectives Of The Approved List Will Be; - To Ensure All Providers Of Foster Care Services To East Sussex County Council And Brighton & Hove City Council Are Providing A Regulated Service On Terms And Conditions That Are The Most Up To Date. - Fulfil The Responsibilities Of The Children's Act 1989 And To Promote Individual Wellbeing, Promote Diversity And Quality In Provision Of Services. - Work Alongside Children's And Social Care Partners To Manage Demand And Service Pressures. The Current Framework Is Due To End On 31 March 2023. East Sussex County Council And Brighton & Hove City Council Are Currently Reviewing The Options Available For The Delivery Of This Service And Would Like To Explore Interest And Information Regarding These Services From Providers. We Are Undertaking This Exercise To Help Best Inform The Decision-making Process. All Information Received In Response To This Request For Information Will Be Confidential And Will Be Considered When Shaping Future Services, And No Provider Will Have Any Advantage Over Another. Organisations Not Participating In This Exercise Will Not Be Disadvantaged Should Any Tendering Process Be Pursued. Should A Procurement Exercise Be Undertaken, A Separate Notice Will Be Issued.

Our Programmes Support The Development Of Children's Services As Learning Organisations, Focusing On: O Identifying Key Strands Of Enquiry O Analysing And Comparing Operational Data About The Services O Using Evidence To Inform Decisions, Including Evidence Available From Outside The Region, Where Relevant O Using Peer Challenge And Peer Review O Building Leadership Capacity And Capability O Developing Standards Of Practice Through Supportive Endeavour There Is A Regional Improvement Plan Which Sets Out The Activities. Its Aim Is To Identify Ways In Which Local Authorities In The South East Can Support Each Other To Improve And Look At How Collective Action Can Help Address Systemic Issues Within The Region. Escc Need To Refresh The List Of Suitably Qualified Freelance Consultants, Who Are Available On An Ad Hoc Basis To Support One Or More Of The Activities Of The Programme.
