Description: Restricted invitation to tender with public participation competition Vob/a Municipality of Waldsolms, new construction of a drinking water treatment plant in the Ot Kraftsolms, Lot 2 (mechanical engineering) The municipality of Waldsolms intends to build a new drinking water treatment plant and connect it to the local network at the Kraftsolms location. General description: The new construction of the water treatment plant is planned with a steel hall (12.60mx7.60mx5.00-7.00m high) and a settling shaft. The water treatment (throughput range 9-13m³/h) consists of a 3-stage process. In the first treatment stage, the iron compounds are removed. For this purpose, the raw water is aerated with an aerator candle which is installed in a stainless steel pipe section DN 100. The raw water is then filtered in a filter vessel (pressure filtration). The required diameter of the filter vessel is 1.60 m and the jacket height is 3.00 m. After the iron has been removed, the water is physically deacidified in a flat bed aerator using the countercurrent process in the second step. The water is temporarily stored in a small pump reservoir with a volume of around 1.5 m³. In the third treatment step, the manganese is removed. To demanganize the water, analogous to deferrization, is filtered in a filter vessel (pressure filtration). After demanganization, the treated drinking water is temporarily stored in a storage tank with a volume of around 15 m³. On the one hand, this serves as a template for the three pumps (2 in parallel operation, 1 redundant), which pump the drinking water via the planned drinking water connection line into the Kraftsolms pipeline network and further into the Kraftsolms elevated tank. On the other hand, the stacking tank serves as a water template for backwashing the pressure filtration. The resulting flushing waste water and the initial filtrate are taken to a sedimentation plant. The work is divided into two sections.
