The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one “similar work” of value of Rs.251.23 lakh or more - At least two “similar works” each of value of Rs.157.02 lakh or more - At least three “similar works” each of value of Rs.125.62 lakh or more For evaluation of work experience, only substantial completion of 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract will be considered. In case of a joint venture or consortium, the foreign partner must have executed works of total value of Rs. 125.62 lakh or more outside the country of the foreign partner. Each substantial partner in the JV/Consortium shall have experience of executing at least one “similar work” of value of Rs. 125.62 lakhs or more in last 05 years. The lead partner must have a minimum of 26% participation in the JV/Consortium. Non-substantial partners should have a minimum of 20% participation in the JV/Consortium. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works within the last five years, with a minimum value of Rs. 125.62 lakhs. In the case of a joint venture (JV)/Consortium, each non-substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one Rolling Stock work of minimum value of Rs. 62.81 lakhs. Note that the value mentioned is Rs.62.81 lakhs for non-substantial partners, but no specific percentage is mentioned for similar works completed by them. However, for substantial completion, 80% value wise is considered.
