Purchaser Name: Danish Ministry Of Defence Acquisition And Logistics Organisation | Description: The Danish Defence and other units under the Ministry of Defence have a need for different types of lifts, at widely varying heights, for widely varying tasks, which will be located in their respective depots, at barracks as well as naval and air stations, in widely varying environments and locations. The depots, naval and air stations of the Defence and other units under the Ministry of Defence are located scattered throughout the country as well as on non-bridged islands (primarily Bornholm) and the Faroe Islands. Some depots are located far from busy roads and settlements, but they are accessible via paved roads with an ordinary car or van. The future need for lifts is expected to be within the types of order pickers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, articulated boom lifts, mast lifts, trailer lifts and vehicle-mounted lifts. The Danish Defence and other units under the Ministry of Defence currently have a range of different makes and types equipped in a wide variety of ways. The current heritage of lifts consists of a minimum of 50 electric or diesel-powered lifts with a platform height from 3.5 m to 26 m. The Defence and other units under the Ministry of Defence have an ongoing need to replace obsolete lifts of various types, as well as a need to expand the heritage of lifts. In addition to purchasing lifts, there is a need for ongoing maintenance of the entire heritage of lifts, both from the current heritage and lifts purchased under the upcoming framework agreement. Against this background, FMI wishes to enter into a framework agreement that will ensure that the Danish Defence and other units under the Ministry of Defence have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of lifts with associated spare parts and services. However, spare parts are expected to be purchased directly to a lesser extent, as it is expected that it will be the future supplier that carries out inspections and repairs in Denmark.
