Outsourcing of the data center at the DRV Hessen Allocation of the parking spaces The following parking spaces are to be made available at one location in separate fire compartments. The installation must take place in a separate cage area or room that is only accessible to the client. Location A: - Server 1 area, own fire compartment - Server 2 area, own fire compartment - Backup 1 area, own fire compartment Location B, geo-redundant to location A (distance 200 km, but at least 100 km) - Backup 2 area, own fire compartment Total connected load The client will probably require a total connected load of around 173 kW for the IT systems for the start-up phase. The contractor must provide a 50% connected load per area as an expansion reserve. The connected load is divided between the productive operation of the "server" and the "backup" as follows. - Productive operation server 1: 82.5 kW - Productive operation server 2: 82.5 kW - Backup 1: 4 kW - Backup 2: 4 kW Floor space / cage As a minimum requirement, the server for productive operation is set up in a cage within the total IT area with 19-inch racks (47 U, minimum dimensions 220 x 80 x 120 (height x width x depth in cm). A work area of 1.20 m must be provided in front of and behind the racks. The setup for backup 1 or 2 is to be priced both as a cage variant and for installation in a lockable colo rack (in an "open-colo area"). The interior of a cage must not be visible from the outside (privacy protection). Number of racks Currently, a total of approx. 108 U (height units) are installed due to servers, network, firewall and backup systems, which are independent of The technically possible performance capacity of a single rack must be divided up into the individual areas at least as follows: - Server area 1: approx. 50 U, number of racks: 3 - Server area 2: approx. 50 U, number of racks: 3 - Backup area 1: approx. 12 U, number of racks: 1 - Backup area 2: approx. 12 U, number of racks: 1 The racks are to be provided by the contractor as lockable 19-inch racks with 47 U with the minimum dimensions 220 x 80 x 120 (height x width x depth in cm). As an expansion reserve, the contractor must provide space for 1 rack per server area. No reserve is to be kept for the Backup 1 and 2 areas.
