This Request For Proposals (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Government Of Manitoba (“manitoba”), As Represented By The Department Of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning And Delivery (“cppd”) On Behalf Of The Owner Of The Project, Manitoba Housing And Renewal Corporation (“owner”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For An Exterior And Site Upgrade As Further Described In Section 1 Of The Rfp Particulars (appendix 3) (the “work”). The Work Is Being Done On An 84 Unit Low Rise Walk-up Apartment Building At 875 Elizabeth Road Winnipeg, Manitoba. Work Site Location Will Be Fully Occupied During Construction. Cppd Is Administering This Rfp Process. For The Purposes Of This Procurement Process, The “rfp Contact” Will Be: Contract Administrator: Irma Melegrito Email: Cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca Proponents And Their Representatives Are Not Permitted To Contact Any Employees, Officers, Agents, Elected Or Appointed Officials, Or Other Representatives Of Manitoba Or Cppd Other Than The Rfp Contact, Concerning Matters Regarding This Rfp. Failure To Adhere To This Rule May Result In The Disqualification Of The Proponent And The Rejection Of The Proponent’s Proposal. An Optional Site Visit Has Been Scheduled As Follows: Location: 875 Elizabeth Road Winnipeg, Manitoba Date And Time: September 9, 2024, At 10:00 Am Local Time Proponents Are To Meet At The Main Entrance Of 875 Elizabeth Road Winnipeg, Manitoba Prior To 10:00 Am To Sign The Site Attendance Sheet. Proponents Are To Pre-register By Email To The Project Coordinator At Adel.farhat@gov.mb.ca. It Is The Proponents Responsibility To Ensure Registration And Confirmation Has Been Received Prior To The Meeting. Proponents Should Register For The Site Visit By 4:00 Pm On September 6, 2024. Attendance At The Site Visit Will Be Confirmed And Recorded. if Proponents Are Not Available To Attend The Above Scheduled Optional Site Visit, But Still Wish To View The Site, An Appointment May Be Arranged By Contacting The Rfp Contact. Proponents Are Not Entitled To Rely On Information Received From Cppd, The Owner’s Representatives Or Other Third Parties At The Site Visit Unless The rfp Contact Has Provided The Information In Writing.
