Proposals Shall Be Submitted By Completing This Document And Placing It In A Sealed Envelope, Clearly Marked On The Outside, “snow Removal Services”; Finance Department, 3rd Floor City Hall, 199 Queen Street, Charlottetown Pe, C1a 4b7", And Must Be Received By The Finance Department Before 2:00:00 Pm Local Time On September 7 Th, 2022. It Is The Responsibility Of The Bidder To Deliver The Sealed Tender To The 3 Rd Floor Of City Hall Before The Time Indicated. Late Proposals Will Not Be Accepted And Will Be Returned To The Proponent. The City Of Charlottetown Is Issuing This Request For Proposals (rfp) With The Intention Of Establishing A Five-year Snow Removal Service Contract For Approximately 25.5 Kilometres Of City Streets. The Successful Proponent Shall Supply All Labor, Tools, Equipment, Supervision, And Incidentals Necessary To Carry Out The Work As Described In Section 3.0 Of This Document. The Intent Of The Rfp Is To Award The Work To A Qualified Proponent With Relevant Experience, Proper Equipment, And Proven Successes With Projects Of A Similar Nature. All Expectations, And Future Details Of The Work Can Be Found In Appendix “a - Draft Agreement”, Attached Hereto. Please Note That The City Reserves The Right To Divide The Contract Up Between Two (2) Contractors, If It Is Deemed In The Best Interest Of The City. The City Acknowledges That If This Occurs, The Number Of Staff And Equipment May Be Reduced From Your Submission, As A Result Of Fewer Kilometres Of Road To Service During The Winter Season.
