Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works can be: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the requirements are the same as above but applied to each component of the tender. Work experience certificates are considered from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The definition of similar work is provided as "Any track works by manually or mechanical means involving Deep screening or TSR or TRR or Casual Renewal or TWR or T/outs or Dismantling of tracks etc." The tenderer must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of the work, using the formula V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work.
