Since Its Inception The Mtm/otm Has Transitioned From A Solely Landline Telephone Survey To A Hybrid Landline, Cell Phone Only (cpo) Household And Online Survey. Now In Its Fourth Year, The Goal Of The Mtm Newcomers/otm Nouveaux Arrivants Study Is To Understand The Journey Of New Canadians (0 To 5 Years In Canada) As They Land And Integrate In Canada Focusing On Their Media And Technology Usage. Cbc/radio-canada Is Requesting Proposals For This High-quality Representative Survey Using A Mixed-methodology Approach. The Research Includes An Annual Sample Of Approximately 4,000 Newcomers, Specifically People Who Have Come To Canada In The Last 5 Years. A Representative Sample Of 800 Canadian-born Respondents, From Both Official Languages, Will Also Be Included For Comparison. This Online Survey Currently Has An Average Response Time Of Approximately 20-25 Minutes And Includes Almost Exclusively Closed-ended Questions.
