The Law Aims To Provide Funds For The Pca Board To Consolidate Benefits Due To Coconut Farmers And Expedite Its Delivery To Attain Increased Incomes For Coconut Farmers, Alleviate Poverty, And Achieve Social Equity. It Has Seven (7) Program Components And The Cda Is The Implementing Agency Of The Second Program Component Which Is Coconut Farmers Organization And Development. Ra 11524 Stipulates That The Cda Shall Be Responsible For Organizing And Empowerment Of Coconut Farmer Organizations And Their Cooperatives. The Law Provides That Five (5%) Of The Annual Budget Allocation From The Trust Fund Shall Be Utilized By The Cda For Farmers’ Cooperatives And Lgus For Coconut Farmers’ Organizations.
