Its primary purpose is to improve the connection between the western districts of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding districts, cities and municipalities, as well as to improve the connection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections Pfa North, Pfa Center, Pfa South I and South II. The construction work includes breaking up the existing surfaces, including the creation of excavation pits, installing deep drainage consisting of shaft structures and sewer lines, and relocating various FL and LWL cable routes, including shaft structures. Also included in the scope of this tender are the relocation of gas and drinking water pipes and power lines. In addition, existing drainage systems, including shaft structures, must also be relocated. All of the aforementioned routes are already in the construction area and must be relocated due to conflicts with the future RTW traffic system. Since the existing lines can only be dismantled after the new routes have been created and the associated reconnection work has been completed, the lines must be partially secured as construction progresses.
