The Project Is To Address The Current Deficiencies In The Fire Separation System That Poses Potential Health And Safety Hazards To Occupants. Completing The Repairs With Underwriter Laboratories Of Canada (ulc) Rated Materials And Assemblies Through Fire-rated Caulking, Mortar, Blocks, Spray And Rated Gypsum Board, Will Bring The Fire Separations Up To The Code Required Fire Resistance Ratings. These Repairs Will Address The Current Fire Separation Deficiencies And Address Building And Fire Code Non-compliance, As Outlined In The Nbc, Section 3.3 – Safety Within Floor Areas.
