WLC Damp Surveying and Protection/Remedial Works-(SC Ref:783588) All property across the council has the potential to suffer from damp, wet rot or dry rot. Identifying and treating this or carrying out remedial works is dealt with by specialist companies. Whilst this requirement is mainly found in the council’s housing properties the works may be required across any of the council estate. We therefore award a contractor to survey for damp/ wet/ dry rot and carry out the associated remedial works to bring a property up to standard.

Naloxone Champion-A direct award was approved by Council Executive at Meeting on 3 September 2024. (SC Ref:782698) The requirement was to provide training to supply and administer Take Home Naloxone across West Lothian.

Hospital Outreach Worker-A direct award was approved by Council Executive at Meeting on 3 September 2024. (SC Ref:782765) The requirement was to support Medication Assisted Treatment MAT 3 activity which requires rapid access to substance use services for people at high risk of death due to harmful substance use. The role will provide a single point of contact for people in St Johns Hospital link with the NHS addictions liaison workers and provide an assertive response to people at high risk.

CC13828 - Housing First for Youth Intensive Housing Support Model-This procurement relates to a direct award without competitive tendering activity. This was approved by West Lothian Council Executive at Meeting on 22 October 2024. (SC Ref:782259) To provide intensive support for young people with multiple and complex needs which include those with addictions and/or poor mental health.
