The project includes the construction of a new county road with associated infrastructure in the ground. The project has a stretch of approx. 4,8 km new 2-lane road. A road shall be constructed on the islands of Sula and Ytre Sula. The road shall be both cut and filled. The road shall be connected to fv. (County road) 606 in the northeast, just north of Daløy ferry landing. In the southeast the road shall be connected to fv. (County road) 5591 west of Nårøyna. A ferry service to Ytre Sula, Daløy - Haldorsneset is currently in operation. The work on the road shall form the basis for further work on the bridge itself.
