Fire Safety Maintenance Works Framework-The University of Plymouth is seeking to appoint a single contractor to undertake maintenance identified to fire doors and associated fire safety works across its campuses following an inspection by a third party. Initial contract term will be for 24months with possible one annual extension

PDSE Clinical Environment Flooring Renewal (Supply and Fit)-The project comprises of the renewal of Vinyl and Carpeted flooring areas within the University of Plymouth Dental Education Facility situated in the Derriford science Park in Plymouth.

8-9 Portland Villas Refurbishment Project-University of Plymouth is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake a full refurbishment of 8 and 9 Portland Villas located on the main campus site for continued office use. There is a need for refurbishment of flooring, decoration, lighting, internal repair, emergency lighting (including 10 Portland Villas) and upgrade of fire alarm to L3 standard. During the construction there will be staff within the site boundary but separated from the construction zones.

The University of Plymouth is a delivery partner in the Deed of Grant Funding Agreement for the project Cornwall Flow Accelerator, number O5R19P03188 (Wave Hub Development Services Limited, 2021). Its expertise within the project is defined as: “Digital twin expertise centred on creating offshore simulations in a virtual environment from a machine-learning perspective, together with vessel simulation expertise” (Wave Hub Development Services Limited, 2021).

E-Health Productivity & Innovation in Cornwall (EPIC2) (www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/epic) is a project part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) that builds on the user led approach developed in the previous EPIC project to take digital health in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly (C&IoS) from a nascent market to one which is more developed, productive, accepted and embedded within the health and care sector, in order to drive economic growth and productivity.
