The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at University of Copenhagen carries out research in the fields of biotechnology, plant science and environmental sciences from the molecular scale to the entire ecosystems. The Plant Biochemistry section intends to purchase a MS QqTOF from Bruker to replace a current instrument that is broken.

Proteomics Research Infrastructure (PRI) is a state of-the-art mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics facility. Founded on 1 July 2020, the new facility provides coordinated, proprietary client access to forerunner proteomic technology, exceptional technical assistance, and streamlined bioinformatic data analysis for the local research community. PRI is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) and linked to the NNF Center for Protein Research at the University of Copenhagen.

The Natural History Museums of Denmark house 14 million unique specimens in both dry, wet and living collections. The collections in the museum are of high value and interest to researchers around the world, and the specimens have been meticulously collected and studied over the past 400 years. Based on specimens from the collections, we undertake research in biodiversity and geology with the potential of improving our general understanding of the natural world.

The purpose is to invite suppliers of a Transmissions Electron Microscope equipment with specifications described in annexes to supply and install such equipment. On this basis, the purpose of the contract is to help the Contracting Entity to achieve a solution that provides the research and teaching requirements of the department.
