Installation and maintenance of a Car Park Management Platform for Public Facing Car Parks-The objective of this project is to (1) replace the existing end of life car park payments system in UCC’s public car parks, located at Perrot’s Inch and College Road, Cork and (2) select a system that may be expanded to other existing and new car parks over the duration of the contract.University College Cork has a preference to pay this over the lifetime of the contract but reserves the right to purchase outright if this is more economically advantageous.

The Photonic Systems Group is seeking to upgrade its optical communication system test facility from its current 50 Gbaud line rate capability to 160 Gbaud line rates to enable the group to carry out research and development on the cutting-edge, high speed optical fibre communication technologies that will be required to underpin the future internet. The testbed transmitter will enable the generation of very high bandwidth (80GHz) complex electrical waveforms that facilitate the encoding of multiple bits of information per pulse. This functionality is referred to as arbitrary waveform generation (AWG). Together the AWG, OMA and Oscilloscope will make up the 160 Gbaud testbed which will be used to facilitate research on novel high speed optical component and system concepts for next-generation optical interconnects for data centres, and for access, metro and long haul networks.

The UCC Alumni and Development office at University College Cork require a cloud-based complete fundraising and supporter management CRM solution that will enable us to operate effectively, reach and engage new supporters and retain and cultivate existing donors. The software should ideally be custom-built for non-profit organisations and provide advanced technology designed to help grow the University’s supporter base, cultivate new revenue streams, and expand our institutions impact.

This Tender is to establish Single Supplier Framework of Engineering Support Services for Small Works Projects at UCC to whom specific tasks may be awarded on an exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”), a copy of which is issued with these tender documents. The Engineering Support Services will be required to support the Buildings Office in the execution of multiple projects. Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, and installation of a Digital Manufacturing System (DMS) to facilitate the manufacturing of high-frequency 3D RF devices, and entire antenna sub-systems with custom shapes and 3D volumes. The DMS system to be purchased need to also allow the realization of RF devices and antennas on conformal surfaces, 3D objects that are either manufactured by the DMS or by any other external system

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to complete Mechanical & Electrical Installations works to Laboratory G14 of Kane Science Building in UCC Main Campus and to establish a multi supplier framework for each lot as follows • Lot 1 Mechanical Installation for Works at University College Cork • Lot 2 Electrical Installations for Works at University College Cork The initial contract comprises Mechanical and Electrical installations to UCC Chemistry Department to renovate Laboratory G14 in the Kane Science Building to facilitate real-time broadcasting and recording of science experiments which will enhance their Visual Learning Education (VLE) implementation.
