Research Modelling Services for Electrochemical Extraction of Hydrogen from Liquid Lithium-STEP are looking to engage with an external partner who can support the development of a solid-state electrolyte-based separation technique for the tritium extraction. This support will include modelling work and the provision of electrochemical expertise. This was awarded through RM6126 Research and Insights DPS.

HyDUS Fuel Cell-The HyDUS initiative is an energy-storage demonstration project in which UKAEA is a key collaborator alongside other organisations. The technical process will include conversion of gaseous hydrogen into electricity via an electrochemical fuel cell. This award notice is for the purchase of a fuel cell. The fuel cell will convert the stored Hydorgen energy into useable electricity.
