The concept Ocean Space Centre has been chosen for the renewal of the scientific marine laboratories at SINTEF Ocean, and the Marine Technology Department at NTNU in Trondheim. Statsbygg is responsible for the implementation of the Ocean Space Centre project, which will be implemented in close cooperation with SINTEF and NTNU.  The Ocean Space Centre will be located in Tyholt in Trondheim, Norway, and the laboratories will consist of wet laboratories such as Ocean Basin Laboratory and Sea Towing Basin Laboratory, as well as dry laboratories such as the site and machine laboratory. The wet laboratories will be used for testing fixed and floating installations and constructions in different wave, current, and wind conditions.

Statsbygg has entered into a framework agreement for ventilation installations in the Ålesund region with GK Norge AS

Statsbygg requests tenders for parallel framework agreements for consultancy services in quality audits for Statsbygg's construction projects. The framework agreement applies for construction projects in Norway. A framework agreement will be entered into with up to 3 suppliers based on this tender contest, provided that the contest gives us a basis thereof. Statsbygg aims to lead the development of the construction industry. The ocean research laboratories at Tyholt in Trondheim were established in 1937, and have been expanded a number of times since then. Since 2005 the knowledge environments and industry have worked with purpose to upgrade and modernise the laboratories. The general aim has been, and is, to realise a centre that will ensure value creation for Norway through competitive Norwegian ocean space industries. Ocean Space Centre (OSC) is a joint name for the marine laboratories.
