The new E8 from Sørbotn to Laukslett is approx. 10 km long. Several minor constructions of bridges and culverts are to be constructed along the route. Ramfjorden is to be crossed b y a beam bridge of approx. 870 m founded on steel pipe pillars. Avalanche protection is to be established in the form of two avalanche mounds along the road, and protection measures at avalanche rivers in the form of leading mounds and avalanche cones, as well as alterations to existing water supply/wells. There is an extraction area for solid rock in the southern part of the area around Sarastein. The existing avalanche mound is to be extended in the same area, as well as the establishment of an overpass for reindeer over the existing E8.

County road 2300 environment street Gran is located in Gran Municipality and will be part of county road 2300. The road will functions a diversion road for national road 4 Gran Tunnel. The development plan was finally adopted on 13 June 2013. The plan is mainly built on the municipal sector plan for the town centre. This involves county road 2300 partially lying in a new route (south) and partially in the previous route for national road 4 (north) through the centre of Gran. The southern, flat part of the planning area was previously bog and very bad ground conditions. County road 2300 environment street Gran is planned to be constructed with a normal width of 6.5 m. In addition there will be a foot and cycle path + a pavement, as green verges. The road will be dimensioned with a street design suitable for a 40 km/h speed limit and an annual daily traffic count of 6000 vehicles/day. This involves principle solutions with partially mixed traffic and road crossings.

The procurement concerns a framework agreement within the electrical discipline. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration intends to enter into an agreement with a minimum of 3 tenderers associated with the framework agreement, but one tenderer for the execution of the work. The majority of the work will be in tunnels in Northern Norway that do not fulfil the tunnel safety regulations. The measures will vary in scope and include various types of improvement work, which is primarily safety measures such the improvement of measures related to evacuation, the principle of self-recovery and the closure of deviations after safety inspections.

In 2020 – 2026 the Norwegian Public Roads Administration is constructing The last lot, K3 Stormyra – Staurset, comprises the construction of an approx. 10.6 km new dual carriageway E39 between Stormyra and Staurset. The contract work in this procurement mainly consists of forest clearance and the removal of felling for lot 3. The forest clearance will start by Søo bridge at profile -2060 and will continue towards Staurset at profile 8470, a stretch of approx. 10.6 km. The forest work must be carried out in autumn/winter 2023/2024. The amount of forest is split into the following:  Spruce: Approx. 1870 m3 (varying site quality)  Pine: Approx. 2380 m3 (varying site quality)  Deciduous forest: Approx. 1115 m3.  The total area including forest, bushes, and other trees is approx. 460,000 m2. All the wood will be the tenderer' property and can be resold. The tenderer must also set out the borders for the site in the sectors that are to be cleared. The tenderer must also secure the areas where unwanted species have been registered.
