Consultancy support to set priorities for research, innovation and improvement in social care 2025--The Supplier will support Social Care Wales to develop a bespoke approach to priority setting, and to build internal capacity to effectively deliver priority setting exercises, with less need for consultancy support or input at an operational level.

Recruitment Services for Director of Corporate Services Vacancy-The Supplier will support Social Care Wales with a number of elements of the recruitment and selection process, from marketing and advertising the opportunity through to interview and appointment of a new Director Corporate Services.

Implementing the outcome map approach to supporting evaluation in Social Care Wales-The purpose of this project is to build upon he developed evaluation framework which uses the outcome mapping approach. The Supplier will provide additional support to Social Care Wales staff in identifying outcomes and think about how and when they will measure and report on impact. This will particularly involve working with Managers to create more detailed evaluation plans in order to better assess the impact of business as usual, as well as new and emerging projects.

Production of x6 Short Animations to Promote Social Care Data Projects-The supplier will produce six simple 2D graphic based animated videos across the following three themes: Data Maturity, National Data Resource (NDR) & Data Standards / FHIR, in both English and Welsh.

Facilitation of Employer Workshops to Improve Regulatory Processes in Social Care in Wales-The supplier will host and facilitate the two in-person workshops in March 2025 with social care employers to help understand how Social Care Wales can improve their regulatory processes.

Phase 2 PACE Team Test and Learn with Welsh Local Authority Children’s Residential Teams-Two-day PACE ‘whole team’ in-person training with a local authority (LA) children’s residential team/s along with clinical consultation support – it is estimated that the Supplier will complete training with three LAs within the contract term. The training will be interactive and will involve a combination of presentation, use of video and practice in small groups.

Wales Omnibus Survey: January 2025 wave-The supplier will conduct a survey across 1,000 representative members of the Welsh public and ask a series of questions to collate their views on Social Care Wales, and the work we do, as well as on the general social care and childcare, play and early years sector in Wales. Once the survey has been carried out and the results analysed, and the supplier will then provide us with the findings in a report and a chart pack of the main findings by 6 March 2025.
