Fair Isle & Grutness Ferry Terminal Redevelopment-(SC Ref:791899) Shetland Islands Council have appointed a Contractors to undertake maritime infrastructure works at two ferry terminal sites: Grutness on the Shetland mainland, and North Haven on Fair Isle. The works of these two ferry terminals are to facilitate a new larger vessel and create more sheltered conditions at Grutness pier.

Consultancy Service for Knab Site Redevelopment Infrastructure and Public Realm Design-This tender relates to the provision of consultancy services to develop the detailed design of the Knab site infrastructure and public realm, in line with the detailed brief contained within these tender documents.

Provision of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Manila Refresher Training-(SC Ref:790165) The scope of the procurement is to appoint a Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) approved training provider for Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) refresher training for statutory safety training courses to the Council’s sea staff in accordance with the Manila Convention 2010. The training will be delivered in blocks. Training Providers must provide all facilities and equipment as required.

Hamnavoe Pier, Burra, Shetland - Fender Repair Works-(SC Ref:789680) There were two options for the fender repairs – a steel option, and a timber option. Each option had a separate Bill of Quantities, and contractors could price one or both options. Shetland Islands Council choose the option that provided the most cost-effective repair.
