Demolition of Smethwick Enterprise Centre-Works are being undertaken to remove a series of redundant buildings -Smethwick Enterprise Centre.

Smethwick Connected - Walking / Cycling Route at Rolfe St-Implementation of a walking/cycling route between Rolfe Street Railway Station and the MMU Hospital. The scheme involves the installation of tactile paving, kerbing and new walking and cycling signs.

Urban Greening - Phase 2 Bull St Preparation Works-Installation of kerbing and drainage on Bull Street, repositioning of street lighting columns.

Blackheath Bus Interchange-The proposal includes radical changes to the carriageway by removing the central roundabout and introducing a two way traffic around a public space area and a new dedicated bus only lane to accommodate new bus shelters. The public realm area have high quality paved surfacing, new improved drainage, new seating areas with benches and bins, new improvement to the existing street lighting, and street trees and soft landscape areas.
