Tender Results of Ofgem

Review of the OFTO Regime-The subject of this contract is to review the Offshore Transmission Operator (OFTO) Regime. This review will be based upon the approach taken from an earlier review, conducted in 2016, which explored what benefits the first three OFTO tender rounds had delivered to consumer. As Ofgem has now having delivered a large pipeline of subsequent OFTO transactions, and require follow-up analysis be undertaken to determine potential benefits achieved.

ESO Cost Monitoring Framework Phase 2-As part of the RIIO-2 price control, the Electricity System Operator (ESO) will submit updates on their IT portfolio as part of the Cost Monitoring Framework (CMF). Ofgem 2024-005 RO/FIT/CFD Targeted Audits and RO Statistical Audits-Ofgem require a supplier to audit a sample of installations relating to RO, FIT and CFD schemes as dictated by Ofgem. The Auditor will visit the sites of the installations to check the accuracy of data provided to Ofgem, secure assurance of compliance and detect departures from good practice or non-compliance.

2024-033 Support for RO and FIT Scheme Supply Volume Queries-On the Buyer's Feed in Tariff (FIT) and Renewable Obligation (RO) schemes the team deal with a lot of queries to operate the schemes. A query could involve, for example, assessing supplier's corporate structures or engaging with suppliers on outstanding supply volume data. Addressing these queries can be time consuming and often requires the Subject Matter Experts to spend time with the team to assist with the query.
