The Supplier shall be able to provide the required number of qualified and experienced Technical Engineering Resources concurrently at any time during the Term. Some experience in the fields of ticketing, high volume/low value Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), and/or NFC-card based solutions. The Supplier shall be able to provide Technical Engineering Resources with various skillsets as outlined below: i. NFC Software Engineer; ii. General Technical Engineer Resource; iii. Mobile Android App Software Engineer; and iv. Backend Software Engineer. The Supplier shall be able to provide Technical Engineering Resources for both shorter and longer engagement periods and shall flexibly provide such number of Technical Engineering Resources as determined by The Authority at any time during the Term (subject to the limits set out in above).

The Authority will require a range of support services, some of which will be ongoing and others which will be required as needs arise. The Contract will involve providing operational support and development services for ITMS and any supplementary or replacement business system that the Authority may implement in the future. The operation of a robust, reliable ITMS suitable for managing TFI Local Link services, is the primary concern of the Authority. A significant number of music, sporting, cultural and other events are held in Ireland each year. The Authority is seeking an adviser or company to provide support in ensuring that appropriate plans and arrangements are in place for major events in Ireland during the framework period.

The Authority is seeking legal services to: Prosecute mostly summary offences on behalf of the Authority in relation to breaches of the regulatory framework governing the small public vehicle industry, public bus passenger services; international bus and coach services, or vehicle clamping. Represent the Authority in judicial proceedings related to the above-mentioned regulatory framework and other areas of the Authority's similar functions as directed by the Authority. Provide general legal assistance in the area of small public service vehicle licensing and enforcement; public bus service licensing, international bus and coach services and vehicle clamping, bike share schemes, rickshaw licensing and other areas of the Authority's functions as directed by the Authority. Carry out such other duties in relation to legal services as may be assigned from time to time by the Authority.

The Authority wishes to undertake a National Household Travel Survey (NHTS) throughout the Republic of Ireland between September 2022 and early December 2022. The purpose of the survey is to gather travel information statistics for the Authority’s on-going transportation planning role and to provide essential travel data for the update of their regional transport models and for the development of additional transport modelling tools. This survey will, once completed, represent the third such National Household Travel Survey, the first having been undertaken in 2012 and the most recent in 2017. (Earlier equivalent surveys were limited to the Greater Dublin Area.)
