The ‘Cork City Council Social Housing Programme 2015-2017’ is a major part of Cork City Council’s delivery plan for the ‘Social Housing Strategy’ as approved by Government in November 2014. Through the competitive dialogue procedure the Council wishes to engage with the Candidates to identify and define the best means suited to meeting its requirements whether by means of solutions such as the: • provision of suitable sites, carrying out design and obtaining appropriate planning permissions on selected sites in partnership with Cork City Council, • construction and completion of the resulting housing projects ready for occupation by residents under a parallel site acquisition and development agreement with the Council entitled the ‘Cork City Council Social Housing Programme 2015-2017’, • completion and transfer of suitable unfinished housing schemes or housing units, • construction of additional units in existing housing schemes.

Removal of 2x No. temporary prefabricated structures, the demolition of an existing 410.6m² single storey post primary school building extension, the demolition of a 148m² single storey services building, the demolition of a 19.6m² boiler house and a 9.5m² shed within the curtilage of a structure that is recommended for inclusion on the Local Authority’s Record of Protected Structures, the provision of a new 1231.5m² single storey post primary school extension, the provision of a new 3312.3m² two-storey post primary school extension, and associated new single storey links and new two-storey link, the provision of a new 49.5m² single storey external store and a new 36m² covered space, including all new works to the existing 4x No. buildings to be retained, and all associated ancillary developments and associated site works.

TU Dublin University wish to engage with a supplier to maintain and support existing telephony infrastructure. This will include Fixed Voice, VoIP and hosted services (i.e. local, national and international calls), installation, configuration, management, support, maintenance, billing, and repairs. Tenderers are also required to detail how they would peer with Government Networks. Management services such as allocation of DDI and freephone numbers, switching and termination. It is essential that the installation of the new service be as seamless as possible to the users. There should be no telephone service interruptions, no interim changes in dialling procedures, and no perceived degradation in the quality of service.

Luas TETRA Radio Motorola MCC7500 Dispatch consoles are obsolete and require upgrade to supportable replacements. This project consists of the removal of the Motorola MCC7500 consoles and replacement with a Dispatch Communications Server. As the Dispatch Communications Server is incompatible with the current Luas INOSS operating system, this project also consists of the installation of Ervocomm TRADIS Dispatch consoles to enable CCR operator interaction with Luas TETRA Radio.
