Research into what supports fairer employer referrals of doctors to the GMC-We would like to understand which programmes and interventions are more prevalent in relation to whether designated bodies were proportionate in their referrals. This will extend knowledge about programmes and interventions that enhance proportionality of referrals, detract from it, or are unrelated to it.

Public Confidence Thresholds Research-The research aims to better understand the public's views on where the GMC's thresholds should sit in public confidence cases, both in terms of their thoughts on hypothetical case examples, but also more broadly to understand why the public holds those views
