The Garrai Beag Social Housing Scheme Works are for the completion of approximately 80% of the total construction works to provide 58 no. social housing units and associated siteworks on a site in Ballybaan More on behalf of Galway City Council.. The development is for a total of 58 no. social housing units, consisting of 40 no. 2-storey houses and 18 no. apartment/duplex units located in 3-storey corner buildings. The development has a mix of 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom units and each has its own door access and individual private open space. Approximately 20% of the total construction works for the development was carried out by a previous contractor between June 2020 and June 2022. The works already carried out on the site include some partially complete structures and partially complete siteworks including drainage installations.
