Tender Results of European Parliament, Directorate General For Communication Comm

This tender aims to cover the supply of a series of services and associated expertise enabling the Audiovisual Unit of the European Parliament to conduct a strategic development regarding its broadcast and multimedia infrastructure in Strasbourg and in Brussels, supported by a team of experts, taking into account several – technical, operational, financial and environmental – challenges.

On the 2024 Election Night, the European Parliament shall disseminate the results of the European elections from all EU Member States, aggregating the national election results to a projection of the future composition of the EP. This procurement aims at providing the EP with a contract covering such service.

The European Parliament launches this procedure aiming to award a framework contract for daily monitoring of written press (national/regional), audio-visual media (radio, TV) and the main online media (internet) in Poland.

The required service is the organisation and implementation of a training programme on EU affairs, with the purpose of raising awareness of young journalists, working for EU-based media outlets, regarding European affairs in general and Parliament-related topics in particular. It will include a module in each of the participating countries (Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and The Netherlands) followed by a module in Brussels or Strasbourg for a limited number of journalists selected among participants in the first module. The contract includes the following specific services: — organisation and implementation of the programme in the concerned country, — selection of participants for both modules, — communication and outreach activities.

On the 2024 Election Night, the European Parliament shall disseminate the results of the European elections from all EU Member States, aggregating the national election results to a projection of the future composition of the EP. Monitoring the future composition of the EP shall be continued throughout election night and until the constitutive session. This contract (lot 2) provides for publication and dissemination of the EP composition. Lot 1 (projection of the composition of the EP) has not been awarded.

Daily media monitoring of news in printed, online and audio-visual media and media analysis on regular basis in Belgium for the needs of the European Parliament.

The required service is the organisation and implementation of a training programme on EU issues, with the purpose of raising awareness of young journalists, working for EU-based media outlets, regarding European affairs in general and Parliament-related topics in particular. The training aims at contributing to a better understanding of how the EU works, and at raising awareness about the importance of the Parliament, parliamentary democracy, as well as the values it stands for. It will include a module in each of the participating countries, followed by a module in Brussels or Strasbourg for a limited number of journalists selected among participants in the first module. The contract includes the following specific services: • organisation and implementation of the programme in the concerned country, • selection of participants for both modules, • communication and outreach activities.

The EP has decided to open a Europa Experience Exhibition Centre in Rome. The continuous opening of this exhibition space to the public and visitor groups requires the contracting of personnel for reception, guidance of visitors and other associated tasks.
