The cleaning services to be provided cover the following tasks: — comprehensive cleaning of the buildings occupied by the EEA, which consist of indoor areas, including office spaces and common spaces (canteen dining room, meeting rooms, gym/fitness facilities, and staircases) and outdoor areas, including main entrance to the building, staircases and access to basement; — window cleaning (indoor and outdoor); — restocking of perishable sanitary materials; — collection and transfer of waste to the recycling centre in the EEA courtyard.

Contribution to the Climate and Health Observatory – ETC/HE (SANTE SLA) – Art. 5 ‘Procedure’.

The purpose of this call for tenders is to establish 2 framework contracts (2 lots) with 2 economic operators covering the following 2 tasks: — lot 1) production: high resolution water, snow, and ice; — lot 2) validation: high resolution water, snow, and ice.

The subject of this call for tenders is the provision of writing services and editing and proofreading services. Writing will include: writing and re-writing of scientific content, as well as providing advice and consultations on the content of the scientific publications, drafting key messages and fine-tuning tone and content adjusting it to the audiences required. Editing and proofreading covers services in English language editing and proofreading for EEA publications. These may include reports, briefings, web reports and indicators. The texts to be edited will mainly be for publication on the web.

The purpose of this negotiated procedure is to establish a direct service contract for several activities supporting the implementation of CLMS in 2023 and partly in 2024, in particular, for the performance of tasks such as ETC coordination and user uptake.

Based on the EEA-Eionet Strategy 2021-2030, EEA will ‘monitor progress of Europe’s transition towards a circular economy and assess Europe’s efforts towards reducing the impacts caused by our society’s consumption and production of raw materials, products, services and waste’. For the Western Balkans to unlock capacities needed to achieve circularity under the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, there is a need to intensify efficient information and knowledge sharing with EU member countries, which EEA will facilitate through increased engagement of Western Balkans in Eionet, as well as tailor made capacity building programme for local experts.

Air pollution in the Western Balkans remains one of the highest in Europe and has a direct impact on citizens’ health. The very high concentrations of particulate matter pollution are mainly due to emissions from industrial installations, domestic heating, and traffic. Moreover, transboundary pollution occurs not only within the Western Balkans but also between the region and the EU.
