The framework contract will cover all policy areas related to the environment and will allow for efficient procurement in the Better Regulation context.

The main goal of the proposed contract is to prepare new ELD training, building on the basis of existing materials, but extending their scope, content, formats and ways of delivering of the trainings; including through workshops dedicated to specific Member States and through e-learning.

The general objective of this project is to provide a robust set of representative common bird indicators for the EU in order to help improving the efficiency of conservation measures under the EU Birds Directive and to inform about the biodiversity impact of European sectoral and land use policies.

The purpose of the framework contract is to provide the contracting authority with highly qualified environmental, techno-economic analysis and scientific support for the policy-making process on the implementation of product policies, namely the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, or Ecodesign Directive until adoption of ESPR, and the EU Ecolabel where appropriate.

Assessment of the need for, added value of and feasibility of (lot 1) a science-based EU-wide positive list of animals that would be allowed as pets in the EU and of (lot 2) criminalising all trade in illegally sourced wildlife across the EU.

Under the National Emission Reduction Commitments Directive (2016/2284/EU), the Commission has the obligation to review the national emission inventory data reported by Member States, as a basis for compliance checks. This contract covers four annual reviews (2024 to 2027). The start of a subsequent phase depends on the satisfactory completion of the previous phase.

Framework contract with a single operator for supporting activities on Regulation No 1257/2013 on ship recycling. The general objective of the framework contract is to assist the contracting authority at various stages of implementation and revision of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation No 1257/2013 (SRR), ensuring that the recycling of EU flagged ships is carried out in accordance with the requirements specified in the Regulation i.e. following safe and environmentally sound practices.

The legislative proposal on deforestation and its impact assessment explicitly undertake the commitment of launching a study with view to extending the product scope to additional derived products within the six commodities initially covered in the initiative (beef, palm oil, soy, wood, cocoa, and coffee). This requires a specific study to extend the product scope, as foreseen in the impact assessment of the legislative proposal.
