Tenders are sought for the Supply of Ultra Low Noise Digital 3T MRI for MRI of the brain and other body parts. A state-of-the-art MRI scanner is required by academic, clinical and industrial users across Ireland, and partners across Europe and the world. The future of neuro-imaging is in large-scale collaboration. To participate in H2020 and other consortia, a scanner capable of the international standard is essential. Several critical subject groups will only lay still for a limited period in the MRI scanner, high measurement sensitivity and patient comfort are necessary. To facilitate cutting-edge research, we would like a strong collaborative relationship with the manufacturer, including early access to new features and sequences from the manufacturer and from other research sites, particularly those studying the brain.

In summary, the Services comprise: The Provision of a Web Content Management System & Associated Services for Trinity College Dublin. The successful tenderer must deliver, implement and provide ongoing 24/7 support for a fully managed enterprise class Web Content Management System (WCMS).

The Department of Education (DoE) intends to put in place a multi-supplier framework agreement, for the Provision of Broadband and Associated Services to Schools for the Department of Education. The Schools Broadband Access Programme which began in 2005 comprises three elements - local connectivity to schools, a national broadband network and a school’s broadband service desk. The Schools Broadband Network provides centrally managed services for schools including broadband connectivity, security, anti-spam/ anti-virus and content filtering. Broadband connectivity is provided using a range of technologies. Under the Schools Broadband Access Programme, the Department of Education (DoE), provides all primary schools and special schools (other than those included in the Post Primary Programme) with broadband connectivity via the National Schools Broadband Network supported by HEAnet. It is necessary to establish a new Framework of providers to ensure continuation of the programme.

Tenders are sought from relevantly qualified and experienced organisations for the supply of an Oral Fluid Based Preliminary Drug Testing (PDT) System. Equipment refers to all components required to conduct a drug test on the system. The part of the system which is responsible for the drug test will be referred to as the ‘Tester’. It must be possible to interpret the result of a Tester without the aid of an electronic device. It is envisaged that between 16,000 to 20,000 units will be required per annum with the most likely quantities being required in batches of 5,000 units or on occasion, 10,000 units. Any quantity discounts offered must apply for the duration of the Framework. Tenderers must be in a position to provide equipment and training as part of the evaluation process from the end of September 2021. It is anticipated that the evaluation process will take approximately six (6) months.

The University of Limerick Information Technology Division (ITD), ) is responsible for the provision and support of computer systems, networking, and audio visual and media services in the University. ITD provides, manages, maintains, and operates a range of both networking and associated infra- structural services to a diverse community of academics, researchers, management staff, administrators, and students (under / postgraduate) throughout the entire establishment. The maintenance (hardware and software), installation, support, management and development of the University’s Server & Storage Infrastructure is outsourced.
