Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, and installation of a parallel micro-bioreactor system capable of performing up to 48 individual fermentation experiments with a working volume of 2 to 5 ml. The micro-bioreactor system provides independent control of pH, dissolved oxygen (DO) and temperature. The system is capable of automated liquid and gas addition as required during fermentation process. The experiments can be operated in a batch or fed-batch mode. The parallel microbioreactor system can be supplied as a single unit (1 x 48) or multiple units (e.g., 2 x 24, etc.,) to facilitate up to 48 parallel fermentation experiments.

This Robotic Cell Characterisation Facility will will provide the capability for end-to-end, high-throughput, automated workflows to deliver comprehensive profiles of phenotypic states in 2D- and 3D systems. The system will be a unique, custom build, robotically controlled platform enabling high-throughput cell characterisation including phenotyping by flow cytometry, high content analysis, proteomics, and cell culture analysis. It will enable numerous automated workflows to be performed simultaneously, essentially facilitating analysis of any perturbation to cellular function by a large pool of compounds (e.g. combinatorial libraries) or in a number of model systems. The primary focus is on integration and automation of the overall system which is based on the computability and synergy of all components. This next generation system will enable the Glucksman Library to maximise potential efficiencies in both workflows and processes. The Specialty Products and Services Centre at Tyndall fabricate and test a wide range of thin film materials, wide band gap semiconductors, MEMS, composite materials, polymers, and hard coatings. The electrical properties and responses of these materials/devices are of significant importance.
