The TFEIP supports parties in the reporting of official air pollutant emissions and projections data to the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP). The TFEIP also provide a technical forum and expert network to identify emission factors, establish methodologies for the estimation of emissions and identify problems related to data reporting.

RDE780 - Exploring opportunities for eDNA and molecular datasets to underpin UK-RDE780 4.1 - This 6-month review seeks to develop a greater understanding of the market for data products derived from DNA and molecular technologies in areas of Defra's competence, their current use cases, potential barriers to implementation, and opportunities for government to alleviate these. Specifically, we seek insight on how we can increase the impacts of knowledge assets derived from DNA and molecular monitoring technologies.

RDE787 - A review of microbial indicators of faecal contamination-RDE 5.1 - This project aims to review microbial indicators of faecal contamination and other microbiological detection techniques in order to assess whether these could be employed to improve detection of faecal contamination and the speed of response to waterborne disease outbreaks in drinking water supplies, with a focus on the distribution system.
