Tender Results of Beaumont Hospital

The Provision of a Managed and Non-Managed Laundry Service at Beaumont Hospital and St. Joseph's Campus, Raheny.

The Contracting Authority requires approximately 100 air cleaner/purifiers for use in patient rooms and Hospital wards. Approximately 80 of the proposed air cleaner / purifiers must be suitable for a space with a floor area of 50m2 and 20 must be suitable for a space with a floor area of 20m2. The successful tenderer shall be required to supply the required equipment in addition to providing support and maintenance for the tendered equipment.

The Contracting Authority requires a fragment analyser for use in its Molecular Laboratory. The successful tenderer will be required to supply, install and commission the required equipment and provide support and maintenance for the tendered equipment. In accordance with Article 27.3 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in respect of this competition. The urgency associated with this requirement arises from the fact that the required equipment will be used in an acute hospital setting. On grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.

This competition is being conducted by Beaumont Hospital who require a flow cytometer for use in the National Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics Service for Solid Organ Transplantation (NHISSOT) at Beaumont Hospital. The successful tenderer shall be required to supply the required equipment in addition to providing support and maintenance for the tendered equipment. This competition is being conducted by Beaumont Hospital to fulfil, in the first instance, Beaumont Hospital’s local requirements. However, the HSE, its funded agencies and other related organisations may make purchases on the terms of this contract.

The Contracting Authority intends to establish a multi party framework agreement for the supply of PCs, laptops, tablet devices and related products for use in Beaumont Hospital. While the initial contract to be delivered under this framework agreement will be concern the supply of PCs, laptops and tablet devices, the Contracting Authority shall also be entitled to utilise this framework agreement as a whole for the supply of all related products and ancillary items, including monitors, computer mice, components and hardware upgrades of every description. The initial contract comprises the first ‘batch’ of hardware to be procured under this framework agreement (i.e., the 2021 quantum of computer equipment). It is envisioned that the hardware purchased under the initial contract will comprise the devices listed in the Pricing Schedule (Appendix 2).

The Contracting Authority intends to establish a single party framework agreement for the supply of paint and related products for use in Beaumont Hospital. The competition relates to the provision of material such as paint, varnish, brushes, rollers and trays. The successful tenderer will assume responsibility for providing a modern discharge letter and electronic prescribing software system. The system shall be web-based and capable of running in modern browsers. The system shall safeguard full compliance with all applicable data protection provisions, including the General Data Protection Regulation. The system shall permit users to create a discharge letter that meets the HIQA minimum dataset. The Contracting Authority requires an auditory brainstem response system for use in the National Hearing Implant and Research Centre at Beaumont Hospital. The successful tenderer shall be required to supply the required equipment in addition to providing support and maintenance for the tendered equipment. This competition is being conducted by Beaumont Hospital to fulfil, in the first instance, Beaumont Hospital’s local requirements. However, the HSE, its funded agencies and other related organisations may make purchases on the terms of this contract.

The Contracting Authority requires six hospital grade central decontamination washer disinfector units to clean and thermally disinfect reusable invasive medical devices, Xi Da Vinci Robotic surgery instruments, laparoscopic instruments and associated items. The equipment must seamlessly integrate with the national Track & Trace system. The successful tenderer shall be required to supply and install and commission the required equipment in addition to providing support and maintenance for the tendered equipment. This competition is being conducted by Beaumont Hospital to fulfil, in the first instance, Beaumont Hospital’s local requirements. However, the HSE, its funded agencies and other related organisations may make purchases on the terms of this contract.

The Contracting Authority intends to award a contract for the provision of a solution for a Disaster Recovery System which will ensure zero downtime for the Beaumont Hospital’s PAC/RIS systems in the event of loss of access to the National PACS, NIMIS. It is proposed to implement a ‘mirrored’ PACS system. This system will sit between Beaumont’s imaging modalities (x-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.) and the NIMIS system – it will essentially hold a copy of all images and reports that pass through it. These copies will be held on the internal IT infrastructure at Beaumont Hospital and will always be immediately accessible if the national PACS repository cannot be reached.
